    Lorraine is driven by client service values and believes that relationship building, candor, and identifying solutions are the blueprint to successful change. She offers clients evidence-based, comprehensive, and strategic solutions to bridge achievement and equity disparity. Results matter, and Lorraine is expertly placed to assist clients achieve them.

    Lorraine is an Indigenous educator and consultant with both Canadian and international experience. She holds a Master’s degree from New York University, two university degrees from the University of Alberta, all with a specialization in the Indigenization and decolonization of education and leadership. She has worked with school administration from the governance side to deliver systems-level interventions, supports, and processes to equitize educational opportunity for Indigenous student achievement and delivered equity-based training to leaders and staff. During her internship at UNESCO South Africa, Lorraine worked with leaders across sectors to explore the intersection of leadership practice, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, and organizational equity outcomes.

    In her spare time, she raises dragons, leads a band of bloodthirsty Dothraki, and tours various geographic regions while absolutely not burning down any cities as doing so is not in keeping with character and would be a terrible way to end a biography, auto or other.

    At his core, Michael is driven by people and a desire to help, and so he is in his element working closely with clients, as a trusted advisor. As a Certified Management Consultant, he has demonstrated the competencies – through his two master’s degrees, global consulting experience, and strong track record – to deliver recommendations and solutions, tailored to his clients’ needs.

    Michael’s services are all about transformation. Whether delivering strategic recommendations for culture transformation or executing on major digital transformation programs, he leverages his foundational knowledge and consulting experience in organizational change management. No change is too big or too small, his work includes incremental process improvement, as well as leading the change strategy that impacts thousands of stakeholders.

    Michael is a passionate ally and advocate of reconciliation, equity, diversity, and inclusion. He is steadfast in supporting this work by way of co-creation and the democratic design and delivery of solutions that transform organizations.

    In his spare time Michael is most likely found driving his three sons to their activities, attending school functions, playing volleyball, and dominating at video games.

    Partner, Privacy and Finance Policy

    Trystan is what we call ‘the Bridge’. His unique skill is the ability to analyze varied information and in turn design transformative and effective strategies that enhance organizational justice.

    Trystan joins us with extensive experience in the public service. At Treasury Board (GNWT) he was the lead for major strategies and change initiatives including Toward a Better Tomorrow: Health System Fiscal Sustainability, the Government Renewal: Embedding Program Performance and Results into Cabinet Decisions, while also heading the education, infrastructure, and housing policy analysis streams.

    He was instrumental in designing key GNWT public sector interventions such as the early childhood education and care sector’s response to COVID-19, and was the original architect of what became the Wage Subsidy Program supporting employers to keep low-wage essential workers on staff with temporary increases to base compensation throughout the pandemic.

    His latest focus is on privacy and data protection policy development with the BC Provincial Information and Privacy Commissioner. This work included developing the legal basis for codes of practice, implementing Indigenous governing entity access authorities, and improving consistency in the statutory interpretation of enabling legislation. He routinely leverages his computing technical expertise and is 3rd Space’s Excel whisperer and pivot table master!
